Having its origin in Andhra Pradesh, there is not much of a difference between Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam costumes. The centre pleats that comes in Bharatanatyam costumes are also used in Kuchipudi , the only difference is the Katcham that comes at the back of a Kuchipudi costume.
